Lips mwah ♥

In these very chilly winter months our lips tend to go very dry and cracked, mine especially! With this approaching dilemma on our hands I thought to go round Boots and sample a few lip savers.

To start off with the old classic pocket tin Vaseline is every ones must have lip essential.
The originals come in four different flavours (and colours), Original blue, Rosy Lips pink, Aloe Vera green and Cocoa Butter brown. The only problem I find with these diddy pots is that the Vaseline does not moisturise your lips, it just forms a goo layer over the top to protect them from the brittle weather. Apart from that the pot lasts forever and the tin fits in everything from coat pockets to clutch bags.

Secondly the newly released Maybeline New York BabyLips has been advertised on TV a hell of a lot so why not test it for myself.  Baby Lips has 6 different variations; mint flavour, intense care, hydrate, and three natural shades of red/pink. I've brought the intense care which is a moisturiser that hydrates your lips whilst protecting them at the same time.

Finally my all time favourite lip moisturising balm is the Soap and Glory 'A good kisser'. This balm moisturises your lips and sticks to them for hours. However the glittery balm is the most expensive option in comparison to Vaseline and Maybeline, but it does the job of both with additional splashes of sparkles. Soap and Glories handy little tin can be taken anywhere and will moisturise your lips all through winter with plenty to spare. Definitely my highest recommendation.
